The events for the Massachusetts Delegation attending the Democratic National Convention, including two in conjunction with the Texas and New York delegations. Highlights include Boston to Austin party with "The Fabulous Thunderbirds"; breakfast at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center with speaker Coretta Scott King. Commonwealth Promotion handled sponsor solicitation, site selection, all negotiations with vendors in Atlanta, production and on-site logistics.

Month-long Tenth Anniversary celebration including: a performance of a 1,000-member choir under the direction of John Oliver; a Boston Neighborhood Parade; a week-long salute to Boston Artists and Writers; a month-long Saratoga Summer Swing Series; a Boston Ballet performance of the world premiere of "Shake It Up" to original music by Boston group "The Cars;" and the Boston Pops Anniversary Finale Concert, which was telecast live on Channel 5. Commonwealth Promotion was awarded the Silver Anvil Award from the Public Relations Society of America for their concept development and execution of all aspects of this celebration.
